Tax Associate future job prospects

I’m starting as a tax associate this year after I graduate. After reading about audit vs. tax I feel I have made the wrong decision in terms of narrowing future job prospects.
Does anyone have any information on the types of job opportunities that would be available for someone who has chosen the tax career path?
I’m scared that I might fail ACCA exams and be left with no real job prospects.

Thank you, any info would be greatly appreciated!

Relax my friend…a career in tax is an outstanding career choice. Indeed, tax professionals can earn more than their audit counterparts even though it is a more specialist field.

With Tax you can do either tax compliance (VAT, HMRC etc) or advisory. Build your career get into advisory and work in an area you like (International, Corporate, family planning etc).

Also, study hard and dont fail.
