I’ve just been given a telephone interview for Standard Life’s accountancy graduate scheme and was wondering if anyone has had any experience of them. I know it is competency-based and will include the usual “why do you want to work here?” questions but I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of the types of competency questions that are asked. Also, is it a recruitment person or someone from the department that interviews you? And is there time to ask questions at the end?
