I’m currently in my 2nd year PhD in Nuclear Engineering. I’ve also recently been invited for a telephone interview for the RBS GBM Technology internship.
Let’s say in the best case scenario I land the internship and impress enough to get offered a place when I graduate onto the RBS GBM PhD graduate scheme. How is this scheme different from a normal graduate scheme? The info on the RBS website is quite vague.
What differences in the scheme itself in terms of the work and training?
I know that some PhD scheme’s offer fast track progression throughout the career in comparison to standard graduates, is this the case here?
Is there a difference in starting salary? If so does anyone have a ball park figure?
Does this scheme offer a more senior starting position to that offered in a standard graduate scheme?
Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
