I’m a final year student studying Financial Management with minor in Maths and Stats and working for 2.1 or 1st. I did my summer intern working in Actuarial department at an insurance company. I didn’t choose to stay upon my graduation but I wish to go for risk analyst position in banking/investment banking.
anybody decided to study towards Professional Risk Manager (PRM) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) qualifications? Or sitting the examinations already? I am thinking to study towards either one on my own. what are the job and salary prospects of each? what is the difference in recognition between a PRM qualified and FRM qualified in the banking as well as the actuarial industry? I am wondering if any of you folks who are better informed than I am could give me a heads up on which is the best for me. Any advice would be appreciated.
