Numerical Test Help!

Hi there,

I am stuck with a question and need some help. It’s the frequency of driver accident table.

A group of one thousand men, aged 23-29, each drive 10,000 miles per year. How many accidents are there likely to be in this group?

Age: 23-29
Accidents(per person per year): Men 23-29=0.125
Accidents(per million miles): Men 23-29=9.6

The answers are: 96,124,960,1810,9600.

Many thanks in advance!

(10,000x1000) / 1m then times 9.6

Although I can’t prove it to you, but it seems to me that the number 96 is true.
