It’s all good saying once they contact you with a job just go direct to the company instead, but that may not be so wise either. They have a contract with you that prevents you from doing that. If they tell you all the details you need to know about the job and company or they say something to give away the company without actually saying it and you go direct, they can sue you for (I think) 40% of your salary. It’s all criminal. I’ve been forced into using agencies because that’s how employers like to hire people nowadays (casual labourer who have no rights and paid minimum wage, then make them unemployed again and replace with another). It’s sickening.
