The role of the Group IT Projects Engineer is within an IT Service Management and Technical Infrastructure Project Management Section, this will give the individual experience and exposure to a wide variety of technologies and tools. The role will include the involvement in a number of IT functions and the opportunity to assist with and own some projects thoughout the fixed period.
* Assisting with the development of roadmaps for services and support processes used within Group IT Services and our dealer network environment. * Assisting with the solution generation and mapping of requirements working with a focused group IT professional and though liaison with key vendors delivering projects or service. * Assist in the implementaion of new systems and services as a member of the Infrastructure Project Team. * Assist in production of project reporting as required by Group IT's project management methodology. * Assist with support, installation, configuration and project work as required.
* Graduate qualifications (or studying for) or equivalent in IT * Solid grounding in basic IT principles * Well developed communication skills * Ability to work alone and within a team environment * Business and technically minded * Process thinker * Customer focused * Inquisitive and logical * Attention to detail * Objective in making decisions
