Job Applications - effect or affect?

#1

Hello can someone explain to me when to use effect and when to use affect in job applications as I have no idea and I heard this must be accurate or recruiters just throw away your application!

Thanks!

Think of it like this. The affects lead to the effects. Affect describes the actions of something on something else, whereas effect is the outcome of these interactions…

…e.g. ‘‘Gravity is a force that affects everything on earth, including apples. One of the effects of gravity is that apples fall to earth, when they fall from a tree.’’

Hope that helps!

i just think:

affect = verb
effect = noun
