Hows this for PwC application question?

Can someone tell me if this is a good answer to PwC application for question. I would take it to my careers service, but so far they havent really been much help to me, I think they specialise in interviews, so I was going to hand it in to get a mock interview.

From a business perspective, if you were to join PwC, which organisation would be your ideal client and what services do you think PwC would be providing to enhance the organisation’s continued business success (maximum 150 words)? Please note the organisation does not have to be a current client of PwC.*

Due to my interest in music, my ideal client would be HMV. PricewaterhouseCoopers can provide a wide range of services to HMV, helping them to reduce taxes, confirm their financial statements are correct and advise them on any mergers or acquisitions they may wish to make. As well as this, PricewaterhouseCoopers can also give them advice on business planning, for example, how to increase CD and DVD sales in a fast changing market where more people are downloading cheap music and movies over the Internet. PricewaterhouseCoopers can guide HMV through the credit crunch by finding ways to maximise their profit, such as changing the price of a product, when, as a result of the credit crunch, fewer people are splashing out on CDs, DVDs and computer games.

i officially hate the pwc application form. i think your answer’s good, but you might want to use another word in place of “splashing out”.

Is this better for a final sentence? Im not sure about the word “innovative”. Im asking about this on here, coz I want to hand this in and get a mock interview before I submit it, although in the face of everything thats happened in the last few hours I might not apply until next year. But at least Ill have the application form finished and Ill know I can do the interview.

PricewaterhouseCoopers can guide HMV through the credit crunch by finding innovative ways to maximise their profit, such as changing the price of a product, when, as a result of the credit crunch, fewer people are going to be spending money on CDs, DVDs and computer games, and more on food and energy.

Oh well, At least I dont want to go into investment banking!

Man the they’ve changed the question on the PWC application form!!

Now it’s

’ Question:
Imagine you are working at PwC. If you could choose an ideal client to advise, who would it be? Your ideal client does not have to be a current client of PwC.
In answering this question please provide us with answers to the following:

Who is your ideal client and what services do they provide?
What services and advice could PwC offer this client?
What commercial/industry issues are affecting this client in the business market that should be taken into account when a providing them with advice? (maximum 500 words)’

that’s an essay!!!

Since it’s 500 words, I’m assuming it has to be much more detailed than the 150 word answer, and this is the only competency question on the application, so I have to make it perfect!
How do I even begin with this, as they are going to asses my written communication based on the answer to this question as well, any advice would be highly appreciated!!

It is actually very difficult to make all the relevant points in 150 words, so raising the limit to 500 is better as it gives you the opportunity to display your knowledge of the profession and your commercial awareness. Make the most of it.
