I’m thinking of doing the IMC Unit 1 exam (as I can get an exemption from Unit 2 thanks to the CFA) and I was wondering how difficult is it.
I’ve done CFA Level 1, 14/15 ACA exams, have a finance undergraduate degree and currently work in audit. Would a lot of the material be revision for someone with such a background? I’m just wondering how realistic the 80h “recommended” study time is. Due to my background I was able to pass CFA L1 with less than 200h of study (approximately) vs the 300h ‘recommended’ time but I’m finding it much harder to find info on the IMC qualification.
