Yes, don’t be shy! Feel free to email/ call HR if they have passed a deadline. Be careful not to keep bothering/ annoying them, but it is absolutely fine to call or email if they haven’t got back to you in a reasonable amount of time. A week or so is a good amount of time depending on where in the process you are up to.
