Has anyone done one of these Gallup Interviews recently and can share their thoughts? I assumed it was normal competency based but it appears to look at ‘Life Themes’ - whatever that is??
The information I have been given:
“Everyone has consistent, recurring patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviours - Gallup call these Life Themes. It is these themes that distinguish us as individuals. Life themes are at work and play in all of us and they identify what helps people to succeed in a particular job or occupation.”
“They are researched against ‘behaviours’ identified as being key in the role for whichyou are applying, so the best way to approach it is just to enter into the spirit and actually enjoy it. At times, it may leave youwondering about the relevance of a question, but be rest assured all questions have a significant meaning to the characteristics that we are looking for and probing; and they have been piloted & validated prior to our use of them.”
Any help is much appreciated!
