EY company mobile phone


Probably a very stupid question I know :), but anyway - in handbook I got from EY it says “Mobile phone; Eligibility: seniors, managers, partners”. Does it mean assistants don’t receive a company mobile phone? Will I have to call my colleagues at my own cost? I know I will get a notebook so this seems really odd to me.

It really is just a practical question as I’m considering buying a new phone soon.


I would think it unlikely - not many companies will give new graduates a company mobile. I doubt theres too much need for one when youre training anyway as if in office youll have a landline and if youre out of office you’ll have a senior looking over you and colleagues with you.

Think you’ll want to find out if its possible to get your email linked up to a blackberry though and if so if theres a particular network needed.
