EY Assurance technician

I have applied for this role which is due to start early next year.

Does anyone have any information on the salary for this role in reading,
what type of clients they work on, (in a post above it says they would probably have smaller clients)
How different is it to the grad audit role- except that AT’s study the ACCA.
Once qualified what sort of career progression is available.
does one get a training contract when they start or is the ACCA training based on performance.

Also with audit in general do you get an allowance if you are away at a hotel for a few nights, how much of the travel do they reimburse.
any comments would be appreciated as I am deciding on pursuing this role interviewing early december or taking the ACCA with KPMG in september next year , have been offered the job.
