Deloitte - Experienced Hire - is it that bad?


I have been offered a role as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte. I have worked for 10 years as a consultant in a smaller Tech Company and have always wished to work for one of the big four. My current role offers empowerment, flexibility and a flat operating structure. I have heard some nightmares about Deloitte hours and Command and Control Structure…small fish, big pond - I’d be a cog on a massive wheel and a resource as appose to a person. Surely it can’t all be that bad? Please give some positive experiences…i am looking for those experienced hires who have transitioned to Deloitte as appose to thosse who have worked their since graduation ?
