I was wondering if someone could clear this up for me: question 2 (“Please explain your understanding of the core activities undertaken by your chosen service line and the value they add to their clients”) and 3 (“Please let us know what you think you will be doing in your first year on your chosen programme and service line”) seem very similar.
Apart from mentioning the professional qualification I would be going for, the office-based nature of the role and that I would be unlikely to be involved in advisory work in my first year, I can’t think of much that would separate my answers for these questions.
I’m guessing the difference probably lies in “the value they add to their clients” but I’m not sure how this should be addressed.
Any advice? It’s thrown me that this isn’t a typical competency-based application form.
