The term NQ always appears to have some negativity to it, but is that true? Some agencies have the term QBE and is that a more accurate experience?
Most NQ’s are not in that category out of choice, or because they lack the ability to be qualified but through personal situations which have controlled their progress and study ability. I recall that when I was studying (many years ago) the best tutor I had was an experienced, but unqualified teacher. He had learnt through being truly hands on person.
NQs/QBE’s have as specific place in the work place and are in my view undervalued. Their insight is non-technical and based on a more practical approach.
In general they are underpaid and under appreciated.
How should NQs promote themselves for employers to see their true value?
