Advisory or Operations

I wonder which of the following roles offers a better career in the long run:

FS Advisory - Performance Improvement in Big 4
Operations - Project Management role in a large American bank

I know pay is higher in Operations but Big 4 does pay for your cima qualification. Anyone in the industry has an advice for me?

Go for FS Advisory. I’ve worked in Ops at a major bank, and the career prospects are pretty horrendous. Advisory allows you to draw upon a vast skills set, and you do more than just insert numbers (what you do in ops).
